This Shabbat, we celebrate Men's Club Shabbat alongside the members of the Beth Tzedec Men's Club. Richard Robertson, Director of Research and Advocacy for B'nai Brith Canada, will give a pulpit presentation on "Grassroots Advocacy in Combatting Antisemitism", with a Question-and-Answer session following at the Congregational Kiddush.
Richard Robertson was born and raised in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada. He holds a Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law. After law school, he articled at an Ontario based law firm, which specialized in Criminal Law. After articling, he pursued graduate studies in History at York University and the University of Ottawa, where his research focused on the Holocaust. Since 2022, Richard has been employed at B'nai Brith Canada where he serves as the Director of Research and Advocacy.
