Fair Share (Annual Contribution - Ages 40+)

At Beth Tzedec, we use a “fair share” system for our members ages 40 and older, where each family makes an annual contribution for membership, including amounts for security and our building. This is based on each family’s ability to contribute.

We understand that every member has a different capacity to give, so Beth Tzedec has a membership contribution schedule which consists of a series of graduated levels. A “fair share” membership contribution system also allows Beth Tzedec to offer membership to those who otherwise would be unable to afford membership in a “fixed dues” system (where all members pay the same level, regardless of their financial situation).
