Our religious tradition includes a vision for a society and world that grows from Genesis to Isaiah, through rabbinic Judaism to contemporary life.
As a religious community, we work on our own and in partnership with Na-Me-Res (Native Men’s Residence), Ve’ahavta (Canadian humanitarian and relief organization), and other faith-based organizations to foster a more just and equitable society. We are concerned with developing and deepening our engagement in these efforts at achieving social justice (tzedek hevrati).
Projects at Beth Tzedec are coordinated by our Hesed Committee and Beth Tzedec Green, as well as through Youth Programming and our Rabbis.
