Beth Tzedec is a destination for Jewish living. More than just services and learning, Beth Tzedec guides our values and impacts our actions. Pirkey Avot teaches “Al shlosha devarim haolam omed, al haTorah, al ha’avodah, v’al gemilut ẖasadim” – “The world depends on three things: the learning of Torah, the service of Hashem, and on acts of kindness” (Avos 1:2).
It is our duty as Jewish people to be a light onto the other nations and to help participate in tikkun olam, repairing the world. Beth Tzedec provides opportunities to volunteer and get involved in helping our community and outside organizations and charities. We are part of this amazing movement to help make the world a better place. When we commit ourselves to acting on our values, we create a meaningful Jewish life. By treating others with ẖesed, kindness, and acting for justice, we empower ourselves to change the world.
REDI stands for anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Our committee consists of members of the Beth Tzedec community who work passionately to promote an inclusive, anti-racist, safe and welcoming environment for all.
Our mission is to champion the inclusion of all members of the Jewish community at Beth Tzedec. We work to promote and support actions of equity and anti-racism within our kehillah and to foster a reputation of diversity and inclusion for all Jews.
New members are always welcome. Meetings happen approximately every six weeks. We invite anyone who is interested in contributing to this meaningful work to join us.

In December 2016, the Board of Governors approved a "Strategic Plan Structure" identifying our mission, vision and strategies guiding our direction.
