At Beth Tzedec, we understand the importance of cultivating lasting friendships and maintaining ties to the community, which is why our senior-focused initiatives aim to foster a sense of belonging and provide a supportive network. As Rabbi Steve Wernick has pointed out in his sermons, loneliness is a disease and community is the cure. Join us to connect with like-minded individuals, engage in meaningful activities, and create lasting memories.
Beth Tzedec doubly recognizes the importance of families sharing Jewish experiences together! We’re creating programming that is meaningful and enjoyable for the whole family – children, parents and grandparents. As the largest conservative synagogue in the world, we maintain Jewish traditions across generations, while creating new ones.
Many community members have reached out to our Spiritual Leadership, searching for opportunities to volunteer and support Israel. We are pleased to announce the Beth Tzedec Israel Experience.
For those seeking a more active, hands-on way to engage, join Rabbi Steven Wernick and Corinne Promislow from February 25 to March 5, 2025 in Israel for this impactful and memorable journey.
The cost per participant is around $2,909 USD plus airfare, tips, and some meals. Single room and triple room requests are available.
Everyone is responsible for their own airfare and transfers from Ben Gurion to the hotel for February 25. There continues to be some uncertainty around which airlines are flying to Israel. Many are flying to Europe on a major carrier and then to Israel on El Al. Only Delta and Air France have code shares. Polish Lot is still flying to Israel as of this writing as are a handful of others.
