Cantor Moshe Fishel, Meir Briskman and the entire Lishmoa El Harina Ensemble have had a great time (so far) rehearsing, hosted by our BT members, seeing the sites of Toronto and leading us all in prayers on Rosh Hashanah. It has been a most exciting experience for them  and for our community. 

Those of us who have had the chance to engage the choir members have found a wonderfully warm and sensitive group of musicians who feel the music and are part of the sacred services they perform. “We are having a great time and this is the best synagogue I have ever sang in,” noted Eitan Drori, an experienced opera star who has been part of High Holy Day services over the years in Australia and Germany. 

With Yom Kippur around the corner, we hope you will feel the music and be part of a most special Sanctuary Service. A healthy and sweet new year to all.
