As announced last month, Phil joins us with more than 30 years of leadership experience gained in both the private and Jewish non-profit sectors, most recently as Executive Director of Adath Israel. He spent the first two decades of his career in sales and marketing at large multinationals including Wrigley’s, Mars, and Warner-Lambert, before switching to an operations-based role heading up Toronto Pearson’s Parking and Ground Transportation business.

In 2014, Phil transitioned to the non-profit sector, serving four years as Executive Director for Camp Kadimah before moving to Adath Israel. Phil is a proud Cape Bretoner and a graduate of Dalhousie University (BSc, MBA). He is passionate about hockey, having coached since 1993 at all levels in Toronto and abroad.  

Phil is incredibly excited about starting his new career at Beth Tzedec, meeting our members, and shaping our shul’s future in collaboration with Rabbi Wernick, our great staff teams and the Board of Directors.
