Support the Peace of Mind Program
Beth Tzedec
Feb 24th 2017

For a week in 2016, a unit of 15 former elite IDF soldiers who experienced the trauma of loss during battle visited our Congregation as part of the Peace of Mind program. Designed to aid in the recovery of these brave young men, they lived in our homes and met in our synagogue.

Many have already committed funds to welcome a new group in June 2017. In addition to the emotional and psychological cost that war takes on the lives of those who serve, the cost to help repair that damage is great. We have received pledges in the amount of $25,000; however, the cost of this program is $75,000. We need your help to raise the remaining $50,000 to bring the unit and their team of therapists to Toronto.

By contributing, we symbolically hold hands and give comfort to these young people who fulfilled their duty to Israel. Demonstrate that you support the recovery of these brave men and women so that they may lead healthy and productive lives.

Please make your contribution to the Beth Tzedec project here. Alternatively, you may call Felicia Gopin at 416-433-6617. All contributions are fully tax deductible.

With thanks,

Sheldon Rotman, President,
on behalf of Vered Feldman, Rhonda Charlat
and Marnie Burke
