Beth Tzedec want to play an important role in your Jewish Journey, with opportunities to learn and grow as a Congregation. We offer programs for learners of all ages to deepen and grow their understanding of Jewish thought and traditions. We host guest lecturers and academics who stand out in their fields, including our own members. Come and learn. It’s all here.

Volunteer Appreciation Shabbat

Yasher Koah Awards and Kiddush

May 27 2023, 9:30AM to 1:00PM
NOTE: This event has already occurred.

On the second day of Shavuot, we will honour Beth Tzedec's volunteers who have contributed significantly to Beth Tzedec’s vision this past year.

  • They are community builders—their work is actively and purposefully done to expand and engage the synagogue community, by building caring relationships

  • They have spearheaded programs and/or initiatives that are enabling our community to live meaningful Jewish lives (Care, Connect, Learn, Pray, Celebrate, Give & Get)

  • They give of their time above and beyond (i.e., serving on multiple committees and longer-term projects)

  • They are pioneers (i.e., designed or initiated a new program, engaged with new constituencies, addressed new needs, demonstrated creativity)

Please join us for Shabbat morning services followed by a special ice cream and bubbly kiddush where we will honour all the recipients of the 2023 Yasher Koaẖ Awards.

Thank you to the hundreds of Beth Tzedec members who help keep our holy community vibrant, impactful and welcoming through their volunteer efforts.
