Teen Volunteering

A group of teen volunteers at Beth Sholom for the Out of the Cold Program

Volunteering isn’t just about helping others—it’s about building empathy, leadership, and a deep sense of responsibility. This program gives teens the chance to bring those values to life through meaningful, real-world action, all while earning volunteer hours.

As part of the growing volunteering opportunities for teens at Beth Tzedec, we’re excited to offer a monthly hands-on volunteering experience for students in grades 9 to 12.

“I loved how in this volunteering program we had so many rewarding opportunities to help out in the community. We ran programs for people of all ages and helped organize community events. I got to meet so many new people, volunteer for amazing organizations, and earn my school volunteer hours. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who wants to help others and get involved!!” Naomi W.

“We really hope you run this program again next year because we would all definitely love to join!” Naomi B., Naomi W., Maya F., Cara F., Jamie R., and Margot C.
