The Rabbinical Assembly Ontario Region’s course offers a comprehensive exploration of Judaism, encompassing its rich traditions, rituals and theological underpinnings. Through a combination of readings, discussion-based learning, cohort experiences and Hebrew language workshops, students will delve into the multifaceted aspects of Jewish life and thought in preparation for becoming a Jew by choice through conversion.

Beth Tzedec welcomes individuals from all stages of life and backgrounds who desire to become Jews by choice, with our Rabbis providing mentorship and support throughout the process. This entails successful completion of the year-long Introduction to Judaism class, regular rabbinic mentoring and an ongoing displayed commitment. Upon the Rabbi’s recommendation, the conversion candidate appears before a Beit Din (ritual tribunal).
