Volunteer Opportunities

Because we are guides by the Jewish principles of chesed (acts of loving-kindness), tzedek/tzedakah (justice and doing what’s right) and tikkun olam (repairing the world), we are committed to putting these values into action within our synagogue family and the community.

Family Chesed Day program

Beth Tzedec is a destination for Jewish living. More than just services and learning, Beth Tzedec guides our values and impacts our actions.

It is our duty as Jewish people to be a light onto the other nations and to help participate in tikkun olam, repairing the world. Beth Tzedec provides opportunities to volunteer and get involved in helping our community and outside organizations and charities. We are part of this amazing movement to help make the world a better place. When we commit ourselves to acting on our values, we create a meaningful Jewish life. By treating others with chesed, kindness, and acting for justice, we empower ourselves to change the world.

Our community is only as connected as we make it. Explore one of the many ways to get involved at Beth Tzedec, whether on projects, social action opportunities or by joining a committee.
