Shabbat Nosh and Drash

Each Shabbat, a member of the Spiritual Leadership Team will teach a short session on the weekly parashah following the Kiddush. This week’s session will be led by our Teens Beit Midrash and Moot Court team. Everyone is welcome.

Since November, Shirel Barkan-Slater and Yacov Fruchter have been studying with a group of 12 Beth Tzedec teenagers in preparation for the Hadar Maimonides Moot Court, Jewish legal sources on the topic of pediatric organ donation. We are thrilled to be sending two teams (seven teens) to the competition, and we invite you to learn from them as they share their positions on the case they have been working on.
