Monthly Teen Volunteering Program

November 15 @ 7:00 pm

Volunteering isn’t just about helping others—it’s about building empathy, leadership and a deep sense of responsibility. This program gives teens the chance to bring those values to life through meaningful, real-world action, all while earning volunteer hours.

As part of the growing volunteering opportunities for teens at Beth Tzedec, we’re excited to offer a monthly hands-on volunteering experience for students in grades 9 to 12, supporting the Betel Centre, Out of the Cold, food banks, Jewish children programs and more.

Pre-registration is required to participate in this series. To register, click HERE. Please note that you only need to register once for the series.

Session 2: Living Chesed: Learning, Understanding and Taking Action

In this session, prepare to create a meaningful and joyful intergenerational Chanukah celebration for our friends at the Betel Centre. Together, we’ll design an interactive trivia game, discover and practice our best jokes, rehearse Chanukah songs and prepare a short dramatic performance.

Through creativity, teamwork and thoughtful planning, learn how even simple acts of kindness and connection can brighten someone’s holiday season.

Get inspired, educated and empowered to become compassionate leaders who turn Jewish values into meaningful action.
