Elul Nosh and Drash
August 15 @ 12:15 pm
Join us each Shabbat afternoon following morning services during Elul for an intimate, 20-minute learning experience immediately following Shabbat Shacharit. Over four sessions, Beth Tzedec’s clergy, cantorial artists, and spiritual leaders will guide participants through four piyyutim at the heart of our High Holy Day liturgy.
In this first session, Rabbi Steve Wernick will lead a session on Unetaneh Tokef, one of the High Holy Day liturgy’s most iconic and haunting prayers.
Whether you have sung these words for decades or are encountering them for the first time, Nosh & Drash offers a moment to slow down, taste something sweet and go deeper into the prayers that define our Days of Awe—before the season arrives.
Everyone is welcome
