Elul Nosh and Drash

Join us each Shabbat afternoon following morning services during Elul for an intimate, 20-minute learning experience immediately following Shabbat Shacharit. Over four sessions, Beth Tzedec’s clergy, cantorial artists, and spiritual leaders will guide participants through four piyyutim at the heart of our High Holy Day liturgy.

In this session, Cantor Sidney Ezer will lead a session on El Nora Alilah. Discover why this prayer, so brief in text, carries such extraordinary weight in the liturgical arc of the day.

Whether you have sung these words for decades or are encountering them for the first time, Nosh & Drash offers a moment to slow down, taste something sweet and go deeper into the prayers that define our Days of Awe—before the season arrives.

Everyone is welcome
