Reach out to book an Aufruf
At the bima during a Thursday morning Aufruf
An aufruf is a pre-wedding celebration where the couple are called up for an aliyah.
Aufruf is Yiddish for “calling up”. It typically takes place on a Torah reading morning before the wedding. Following the blessing, the Congregation often showers the couple with candy as a symbol of good wishes.
The aufruf is often followed by a kiddush where family and friends can celebrate with the couple.
