Beth Tzedec is pleased to announce the launch of our newest exhibit, a retrospective of our Congregation's history at 1700 Bathurst Street. The first installation, Bereishee, is now open and features images and exhibits from our first two decades. The exhibit is located on the walls outside the Museum.

Beth Tzedec Group Visit to the Nova Festival Exhibition

This Sunday, June 15
2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The Nova Festival Exhibition is an in-depth remembrance of the brutal massacre at the Nova Music Festival on October 7, 2023. Led by Rabbi Steve Wernick, this group visit will offer a chance to process the experience afterwards as a group.

The installation sets out to recreate a festival dedicated to peace and love that was savagely cut short by a terrorist attack on that fateful day. The attack at the Nova Music Festival was the largest massacre in music history. This powerful installation invites visitors to immerse themselves and bear witness to the tragic events of October 7th and its aftermath.

Body and Soul Summer Walking Group

Wednesdays, July 2, 9, 16 & 23
9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday mornings, exercise your body and soul with Rabbi Robyn Fryer Bodzin for a bit of Torah and some brisk walking. We will meet at in Beth Tzedec's lower parking lot. Please remember to bring water, sunscreen and a hat. We will not meet on rainy days.

Babies, Blessings and Shabbat Fun: Summer Edition

Fridays, July 11 & 26 and August 1, 8, 15 and 22
11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Join us on Fridays as we welcome Shabbat with a 45-minute music class featuring Shabbat songs and blessings, challah and lots of fun. We are pleased to partner with L'Dance Classes for this special weekly experience for children up to 18 months old, accompanied by an adult caregiver.

The Summer 2025 term runs from July 18 to August 22.

Cost: $90 for Beth Tzedec members / $135 for community participants.

An Inside Job: Daniel Silva Returns to Bathurst Street

Sunday, July 27 at 4:00 p.m.

Beth Tzedec welcomes internationally renowned and best-selling author Daniel Silva who joins us to speak about his latest book, An Inside Job. Ticket purchase includes a copy of An Inside Job. Following the presentation, he will be available to sign copies of his book.

In An Inside Job, art restorer and legendary spy Gabriel Allon must solve the perfect crime in the dazzling new tale of murder, greed, and corruption.

Cost: $30 per person; $50 for two people. One copy of An Inside Job (retail value $25.99) will be provided with every ticket purchase of one or two tickets. Additional copies will also be available for purchase.

Community-Wide Pride Shabbat

Friday, June 20 (at Miles Nadal JCC)
6:00 p.m.

You are invited to attend Toronto’s annual community-wide Pride Shabbat. With queer and allied clergy leading a beautiful Kabbalat Shabbat service, a delicious kosher dinner and opportunities to celebrate both our LGBTQ+ and Jewish identities, this is a night you won’t want to miss. 

This event is organized by a coalition of organizations who are working towards LGBTQ+ inclusion in all aspects of Jewish life. This event centers LGBTQ+ Jewish community members and allies to both Jewish and LGBTQ+ communities are more than welcome to join us.
