Despite the fact that more than 700 rockets and mortars have been fired by Gaza terrorists at Israel since the beginning of Operation Protective Edge, protests against the Jewish state and her right to defend herself continue to gain momentum around the world.

Now, perhaps more than ever before, we need to show the innocent civilians of Israel whose lives are in constant peril by these unrelenting terrorist attacks - and the global community - that we stand side-by-side with Israel, and declare our unwavering support

We also need to show our appreciation and respect for the principled stand our Canadian government continues to demonstrate on Israel's behalf.
